Day twenty-one to Day thirty-one

So I got fairly behind once school started, not really sure why. I am going to post one mass photo update for all the days I didn't post for. There are quite a few pictures. I made it through January without Junk Food, by my definition. Jeff also went without Junk Food to support me.

I got to see Cait and Chase when they were up but I forgot my camera in the car and didn't get any pictures. It was fun we went to Jade Buffet in Owosso. It's a Chinese buffet that we used to go to all the time in high school. It was as good as I remember. I didn't get to eat my favorite the fried dough with sugar on the outside. I also didn't eat my fortune cookie, almost did but then decided it's likely junk food by my definition. It was a fun time though and I bought Chase an Alphie, which was my favorite toy as a child.

Jeff helped me finish putting the shelves up in my room. I haven't yet organized the one shelf but now have some where for my DVDs to go.

These remind me of the summer I spent driving back and forth with Cait up to Marquette. The little bear I bought at Michaels but the starfish and the little shell turtle were from the trip I just like the bear with them. I bought the two at Sea Shell City on one of our stops.

I've wanted to get a picture of the icicles from the window for a while and since it was a nice looking day with the blue skies and all I took the opportunity and got these shots.

These are pictures of a cow rug I bought. I've always wanted one and when I saw this one I had to have it. It is so unique. It has every color a cow can be all in one hide. It's mainly a redish brown that fades to black at the edges and some white spots on the edges and a touch of a Jersey light brown.

These are the brandings on it, another part that makes it so unique.

This is my new yarn bowl that I bought at Ikea, it's metal. I'm putting my current work in progress in there.

I've been working to get my room more organized and with less junk laying around, these are a few of the shots I took today. It's getting there, even if it is slowly. This was my progress for today.

Day Twenty

Well it's been twenty days without soda or junk food. I'll be glad when February is here and I can have junk food again but I am changing the way I eat it. I've noticed the most times I really want junk food are either when I'm too lazy to find actual food or there isn't anything to eat here. I replace meals with junk food and that's not healthy. I also want it if I get upset. I'm hoping now that I've noticed these things I can change my behavior. I plan to only eat junk food after meals once I start eating it again.

I also bought a Shake Weight the other day. I've been thinking about getting one for a while and I saw they started making colored ones so I bought a purple one. Laugh if you must but

it's a pretty good work out and under ten minutes.

Day Nineteen

I bought a few different teas and this is one of my favorites and should really help with the no soda for a year thing. I had my first Environment Science class tonight. The teacher seems like a good teacher.

Day Eighteen

Went and got new tires on my car and had one of the ti-rods changed and an alignment. No more pulling when I drive! I went to KanRock in Fenton, they're really nice there and don't try to over charge you.

Today's pictures are of all the MexiCokes Jeff drank without me :o( Real Sugar Coca-Cola. He didn't drink them in front of me but they were all over his room, lol.

Day Seventeen

We went to get Jeff's TV today. That took a while and I really didn't see much difference in any of the TV's, lol. He ended up picking out a LED 1080p with the 120 refresh rate. It's a nice TV kinda weird watching in high def, like watching the monitors on a movie set.

Jeff also helped me organize some of my room. I have too much stuff for my small room so it's hard to find a place for everything. Here is him thinking about organizing.

Day Sixteen

Today Jeff and I went to the Rainforest Cafe in Great Lakes Crossing. The lighting is fairly dark so it was hard to get clear pictures. We sat next to the gold guy holding the world in a fountain. The food was really good I got lasagna. I wish we could have sat next to the elephants though. There was a sky with shooting starts too. It was the second time I've been there but it has been ten years since the first time.

Day Fifteen

Yeah I'm getting behind but I took pictures so here are the ones from the 15th. I was at Meijer when I saw this in the cheeses. Van Gogh cheese!!

Day Fourteen

Look what is already out at Walmart. Bathing Suits right next to the winter coats! They also had them at Target. I'm all for rushing for Spring but Bathing Suits already!

Day Thirteen

Sabrina and CC came over for a visit today. I took a few pictures of CC while she was here.

Day Twelve

Forgot to post yesterday. I finished my current crochet project on to the next project, lol. There's only a million projects left. Didn't really have a good day got into an argument with the crazy neighbor woman so sick of her sitting out there for hours with the dogs barking.

Day Eleven

It's been snowing all day. These are the pictures I got. I didn't want the camera to get too wet in the snow so I snapped these quickly.

Day Ten

Not feeling too well today. I have a cold, my throat is killing me. Taking Nyquil and going to bed with hopes of feeling better tomorrow. I didn't take outside pictures today but will tomorrow if I feel better.

I was playing around with different settings to find the best for the lighting conditions. They're a little soft but that's because I didn't pull my tripod out for that lens, not really sure where it is exactly at the moment.
